Live for today
Sep. 20th, 2006 11:33 pmI'm not gonna lie when I say that today was one of the greatest days that I've had in awhile. And I mean that!
I took Alex out to lunch today cuz a.) i felt like being nice and b.) I wanted to cheer him up. So I figure eh I'll take him to a nice restauraunt or something. And of course, Alex being Alex he wants to go to Wendy's, so after like 10 minutes arguing we go to Wendy's. After that we go to the reflecting pool by the symphony (after alex nearly got himself killed by crossing the street and nearly getting run over by like 3 cars) and just sit and eat, it was kinda kool cuz we talked and chilled.
The next part was probably one of the most impulsive thing I've done in years. We're walking near the fountain/sprinkler type thing near the reflecting pool and Alex goes "Let's run in!" My first reaction was like HELL NO! I'm gonna get all wet and my clothes are gonna get soaked!! But after some convincing I finally went along with it. Let me just say that it was sooooo worth it. We were running around in the fountain acting like kids but we didn't care it was so much fun and afterwards we were so soaked. Then I was like "LET'S DO IT AGAIN" so we did and we ran around the entire fountain area and tried to beat each other running all the way around it. We then walked barefoot by the reflecting pool (I've never walked barefoot in Boston so it was an experience) and then sunbathed on the grass. It was good to not have a care in the world...
After we dried off at Danny and everything we went to the activities expo where I played DDR and help run the booth. Not to sound cocky or anything, but I helped get some ppl to sign up and even play! Score one for Alicia! ^_^ I really hope at least a small portion of the people who signed up come. It would be really kool if we could get our numbers up. OH! I played some Super Smash Bros. and I actually wasn't the first to die!!! woooot for me and these were against guys that played aaaaaaaaallllll the time ><. But yeah Marth is my new favorite charrie, most definitely!!
Oh yeah and I need to hang out with Alex's friend Kent more often cuz he's fucking hilarious. He said that Danielsen is like the Far East of BU cuz it's like east of east of campus. He was like "Welcome to Danielsen, The Oriental, where we sell you silk and spices." I died laughing at that
The only really sucky thing about today is that my phone is dead. I think the battery is busted so I probably will have to get it replaced. So warning to all that I probably won't be able to contact anyone unless through IM till I get it fixed, cuz I cant' even turn it on D:.
