Woo! for amazingness!!
Apr. 27th, 2006 09:50 pmThe beginning of my week was really shitty and as of today this has somehow been dubbed the greatest week ever.
Funny how things can turn out to be like that.
Got Advent Children after classes yesterday, then rushed back here to watch it. Let me just say that words can not describe the amazingness of it. I was left in a state of awe when I finished it. Sooooo was worth the wait man, oooh man!! But yah would talk about the real niddy griddy in it but considering that some ppl have seen it while others haven't. That movie just proves to me how awsome the characters are including Cloud andhis hotness just proves to me the things I would do to him if I was alone in a room with him Tifa, and the whole crew. Though I thought Kadaj was just a tad bit too freaky but then again I think that's how he was suppose to be portrayed. I really liked the voice actors were great as well, with the exception of Kadaj's goons, they were poorly cast. And I do approve more of Mena Suvari doing Aerith, she apparently just did a shitty job in KH2. Go figure. But yah, I think it's without a doubt the best movie that I've seen this year (though V for Vendetta comes in second by not a lot) simply because it's Advent Children and simply because it was also an unbelievalbe movie.
But yah if Advent Children wasn't enough to make my week this next part was. I had my debate yesterday for rhetoric ya know the one on GE food. I had been worrying it for the past couple of weeks considering that I was the leader of the group. So we had our debate and it went really well, my professor absolutely loved my part of the debate as I could tell cuz he was smiling and nodding to what I was saying. So I got an email from my rhetoric professor letting me know how I did on the debate. And well....WE WON!!! and not only that our group got an A- Yaaaaaaay!! Keep in mind it is very hard to get an A in anything in that man's class. I read what he said about our debate and he said that I basically one the debate for us. Now I shit you not guys, but he was like yah, you did a phenomenal job with your presentation and your points and all of your classmates said thatyou were amazing in the voting (we're suppose to vote on who we think won the debate and why), turns out they voted 4:1 and someone said it was a tie. And...yah...I couldn't believe it. I was literally jumping up and down when I found out. It's been awhile since I've been so happy about a grade.
Now to top it all off I'm going to see Cake with some friends tomorrow at MIT. Now THAT should kick ass tremendously. I'm so incredibly excited about it.
Now before I forget I'll address the note of what set me off early this week (well somewhat, considering I don't wanna get into specifics and also the fact that wasn't the only thing that made me mad). I realize that while I don't like what's going on (with a particular friend of mine) there's really nothing I can do or say right now. Though I want to always be there for him and protect him there comes a time where I need to step back. I mean it's his life, I have no right to change it, even though I thought i did. I guess acceptance of what's realy going on can be good if you really think about it.
:sigh: I should really get back to my work now. Procrastination isn't as effective as it may seem ya know.
Adios
