Much Randomness

Alright while I loved and adored my last icon, I realized that I have so many icons that I forget about. Like the several escaflowne icons that I have that i NEVER USE, and well this one with Hitomi and Vaan is just cute and awsome plus it's taking from the series (which kicks copious amounts amounts of ass) and not the movie :cough cough: sux at life :cough cough:. If you couldn't tell, I'm not that much of a fan of the movie. Just a tad....
Speaking of kick ass anime, I was at anime club and I saw two really great anime, Scrapped Princess and Karin. I'll talk about Scrapped Princess becuz it was just that awsome. It's kinda like Trigun but less comedic and instead of all the ppl using guns ppl use swords and magic, LIKE IT SHOULD BE!!! lol Alright general premise: girl named Pacifica, 15, is being tracked down by the government becuz on her 16th birthday she's suppose to bring about the apocalypse (uh sounds fun!!) and well she's protected by her brother Shannon (stoic bad ass swordsman(and ladies he is GORGEOUS) who is just wicked kool) and Raquel (crazy awsome mage lady). And they leave their town and the fun ensues. Well not fun but u know what I mean. Everyone is just absolutely sick or wicked kool in this anime. Even the villains who are kinda bastards are either kool or they're just gross when it comes to their power. I seriously wanna role up the stats for some of the characters in this anime. One of my few complaints about the series is that the bad ass of the series is giving a girl name. But schild made a good point while I was explaining it to him yesterday, if you're crazy awsome with a sword who cares what ur name is. Too true, Too true.
And on the note of Scrapped Princess, don't mind me i'm gonna go on a little bit of a rant. I was reading something kinda disturbing last night in this anime blog bout Scrapped Princess. This is basically what it said: There's a character that u meet in Scrapped Princess, Leo, that has a crush on Pacifica but doesn't acknowledge his feelings cuz she appears to have a crush on her brother Shannon. WHAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAT!! Alright are you on freakin crack, what the fuck were u on when u watched this anime. She just really looks up to her brother and respects his strengths, plus she's not really intersted in guys right now...i don't know...BECAUSE SHE'S RUNNING FOR HER LIFE FROM PEOPLE WHO ARE DETERMINED TO KILL HER. So as you can see she's a tiny bit preoccupied at the moment. God I hate when ppl assume romantic feelings by by looking WAAAAAAY too much into stuff. Such as the rumored yaoi between guy characters in anime such as Tsume and Toboe from Wolf's Rain as well as Kamui and Fuma from X. I mean I can understand why they think that but it's still disturbing. If you had the commen scence to see the relationship for what it really is you would see that it's just friendship or brotherly love. Sorry, NOT GONNA FLY HERE BUCKO!! I just had to get that off my chest cuz that's really been ticking me off.
Alright well now on to other stuff.
God what a difference a year makes. I'm starting to realize how my perceptions on sundays have changed. I used to hate sundays becuz I would do NOTHING but homework and i hated cuz it was the last day of the weekend. Plus I would work on sundays (another reason to hate it). But now I actually look forward to Sunday's. That's probably bcuz of DDR club and the stuff we do afterwards such as eat at Warren and making the trip over to MIT. Plus it's pretty much the only day now that I'm able to play a good amount of DDR since i'm so busy with school and shit. Eh well can't complain...wait i kinda just did. Eh well u know what i'm getting at.
Well i gotta get ready cuz I have to work on a project at 1. I'm not looking forward to it too much but that's because it's for the class Humanities which I realize that I just don't like and it had nothing to do with my teacher, considering that now I have a new teacher this semester who is really kool. Eh it'll b alright i guess it's not too hard plus the guy i'm working with isn't really a slacker if you get right down too it.
