(no subject)
Can somebody tell me WHY it's so freaking hot out right now. =/ Didn't help that yesterday was worse and I had to spend my day in my apartment cuz I had my japanese final today. Even with the fans I was still dying from the heat. I was half tempted to call merg and say fuck it to studying and swim in his grandmother's pool. But alas I was a good little dooby and studied.
Speaking of wish I had my final today. And in my opinion the written part was farily easy, yes like most of her quizzes and tests it was challenging at times, but I think I probably got an much need B+ or possibly A if I didn't mess up that much. The oral was another story, the questions I got, I totally kicked ass and said it right and everything, however the several I didn't were totally said wrong our I just didn't know. Doesn't help that she talks way to fast so I'm constantly saying moichido (repeat, basically). :sigh: I mean she knows I worked hard and that I've been studying my arse off (apparently ppl in my class commented on that too), but Idk, I hope I pulled off a B, any lower and it's gonna suck cuz Japanese was supposee to bring my GPA up NOT done.
Oh and I got into a GREAT anime called Gurren Lagan. Yeah I know you probably have never heard about it, but it's fucking amazing. It's a mech anime (duh!) but it's different from that. The animation style for some reason reminds me of FLCL and the action scenes are quite awsome. The characters are amazing: Simon the main character (a kid) whose a wuss but will inevitably turn kool, Yoko the fan service of the series who carries around this sniper boozaka weapon (fun to see that in action), and last but not least my favorite character Kamina. See Kamina when you first think of him as the cocky bad ass, but he makes the role work and actuallly goes beyond the sterotype to create a character that you just love and make you say "wow he's kool", plus his tattoos remind me a lot of what Vaan's looked like in the esca movie 'cept Kamina has them on both arms. And the dude has fuckin' awsome shades!! There was this anime mech and he basically said "Hmm I like it. I wanna pilot it. Simon pilot me over there. I'm gonna get rid of the pilot and make that gamman (the mecha) mine." Keep in mind all he had was a gun which he clearly didn't know how to use considering he was holding it upside down, and it wasn't because he was trying to be badass. It was funny when he didn't know what the gun did so he used it to smack against the cockpit door and then by accidentally hit the trigger and almost shot himself. It's been awhile that I've really thoroughly enjoyed an action flick other than bleach. And this one is not only good but it's also very worth watching and I can't wait to see more.
:sigh: I really don't want to go to this script reading for Matt. But I did promise him and he is suppose to pick me up at the T in Beverly. I just wanna go to the beach and read a good book. Alright, i'm out. PEACE!!
